New Motion Sensor Technology from Microsoft

After presenting the motion sensor technology, Kinect, Microsoft reportedly is developing a new motion sensor technology as Soundwave.

As the name implies, controls the movement of the Soundwave is supported by a computer speaker, microphone, and some other sound elements. And to detect motion, Soundwave uses the Doppler effect.

Soundwave can detect changes in frequency of sound waves by using a voice that was heard and then measure the changes resulting from the feedback of hand movements.

Although there is noise around the device that uses technology Soundwave, Soundwave but still can detect motion. In fact, this technology can detect when someone is walking or movement away from the computer, and responded by opening or locking device.
