For a computer technician, Hiren's Boot CD is very helpful. This CD contains many tools that ease the job. Of Antivirus, Ghost, Disk Manager and the most help are the Mini Windows XP. What if we want to boot from USB that contains the Hiren's? Here's how :
1. plug the USB flash disk (256MB minimum)
2. Download and working USB Disk Storage Format
Download here usb_format.rar (35 KB)
Caution, this program will do the format on FlashDisk, so backup important data first.
3. Download and working grubinst_gui
Download here grub4dos.rar (170 KB)
4. Copy file grldr dan menu.lst dari grub4dos.rar to root for USB Flash Disk
5. Input CD Hiren Versi 14.0 or neweast to USB FlashDisk
6. Completed, please try to boot your FlashDisk
